Clustly ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at clustly.ai and the "Clustly — Tip on X.com" Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in via X (Twitter) OAuth, we receive your public profile information including your display name, username, and profile image. We do not receive or store your X password.

Wallet Addresses

If you connect a cryptocurrency wallet (e.g., MetaMask), we store your public wallet address to enable tipping. We never request, access, or store your private keys or seed phrases. All transactions are signed locally in your wallet.

Transaction Data

When you send or receive a tip, we record the transaction hash, sender and recipient identifiers, amount, token type, and timestamp. This data is derived from public blockchain transactions.

Usage Data

We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services. We do not collect browsing history, keystrokes, or any data from pages other than X.com (where the extension operates).

3. Chrome Extension

The Clustly Chrome extension operates exclusively on x.com and twitter.com. It:

  • Adds tip buttons to posts on X.com
  • Communicates only with clustly.ai (our backend)
  • Does not read, collect, or transmit your browsing data
  • Does not access browser history, cookies, or saved passwords
  • Does not inject ads or track you across websites

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To facilitate cryptocurrency tips between users
  • To display your public profile on Clustly
  • To show leaderboards and platform statistics
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent activity

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your public profile information and tip history may be visible to other Clustly users as part of the platform's social features.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security enabled. All communications between the extension, website, and our servers are encrypted via HTTPS. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

7. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect your wallet at any time
  • Uninstall the Chrome extension to stop all extension activity

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication (session management). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy
