Privacy Policy
Last updated: [November 21, 2025]
Clustly (“the Extension”, “we”, “our”) is a browser extension that allows users to view creator wallet information and send crypto tips (e.g., USDC) through supported Web3 wallets such as MetaMask. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal data (name, email, phone number)
- Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords
- Wallet balances
- Social media login information
- Payment information or credit card data
- Browsing history outside the extension’s required scope
Your wallet keys and signing actions always remain securely inside your own Web3 wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, Phantom, Sui Wallet).
2. Information We Collect
The Extension only processes minimal, non-personal technical data necessary to operate:
- Public Wallet Information
If a creator registers their wallet address with Clustly, the Extension may display:
- Public wallet address
- Public on-chain score
- Public transaction statistics
These are public blockchain data and contain no personal identifiers.
- Extension Usage Data (Optional)
We may collect anonymous metrics such as:
- Number of tips sent
- Total tipping volume
- Number of registered creators
These data are aggregated and anonymized. We cannot identify individual users.
3. How We Use Data
Collected information is used only for:
- Displaying creator wallet information
- Enabling tipping actions through your Web3 wallet
- Improving extension performance
- Fraud prevention (e.g., detecting fake wallet registrations)
We do not sell or share data with third parties.
4. Permissions Used
The Extension may request permissions such as:
- activeTab – to display tipping UI on supported pages
- storage – to save simple local settings (theme, language)
- scripting – to insert UI components on X (Twitter) pages
These permissions do not allow access to private data.
5. Third-Party Services
The Extension interacts with:
- Public blockchain RPC providers
- User-installed Web3 wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
We do not control how these services process data. Please review their privacy policies separately.
6. Security
We implement best practices to prevent unauthorized access to any locally stored data.
However, blockchain transactions are inherently public and cannot be deleted.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Extension is not intended for users under 13 years old.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. A new “Last updated” date will be posted.
Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
